It’s finally here! A place for us to be candid. A place for us to be expressive. A place for us to connect with each other on a more personal level. This blog has been a dream for some time now and it’s reality. This is a platform for us at The Voice to share what may be on our hearts and minds. It may be a Scripture, some random thoughts, or just an update about what’s going on in our ministry.

As Pastor Sonia declared over The Voice at the beginning of this year, Zechariah 4:10 says, “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin…” This blog may be a small beginning to what could turn out to be something great, but ultimately, it’s for the glory of the Lord, so we know He is pleased to see the work begin.

This Scripture is a constant reminder that whatever dreams you may have, you cannot always expect them to be brought to fruition as soon as you begin the pursuit. Every dream requires a process and a process requires time. This will consist of starting at square one, which, more often than not, would be some sort of a small beginning. Whether your dream is to be a pastor, a missionary, a doctor, CEO, or a school principal, every journey begins with one step.

The Voice, let’s be a ministry full of people who will do whatever it takes to achieve whatever dream the Lord has placed within our hearts. If the Lord opens a door to a “small beginning” to said dream, joyfully walk through! He sees the obedience and the willingness and I can assure you that blessings and fruition are on the way!
