Numbers don’t lie, just look at history

Unfortunately, 2020 hasn’t felt awesome at all. Frankly, many people are emotional, physically, and spiritually exhausted at this point.
Rooms that were once filled with laughter and joy, are now filled with the sound of CNN and Fox News reporters, with empty bottles of liquor as a backdrop.
These are indeed dark times, and the times will likely get darker. I am not saying that things will get worse, but just that more people will forget about the Light in the room.
Darkness doesn’t spread by rain or storms, but rather it spreads by distractions on Earth that make us forget where the sun is.
Armed and Dangerous
These dark and troubling times can let us forget that we belong to a King much greater than the one of this world. Due to our forgetting about His reign, we became foreigners to his protections over us, making us fall into the vanity and lies that remain deeply ingrained in the ways of this world.
That’s not even the worst part about it.
What’s worse than that, is simply the fact that we forget how powerful we are, in the presence and grace of Jesus.
Yes, we.
If you don’t believe me, read all 66 books of the Bible, and it will show you how dangerous the people of God can be when we unite together under one banner. Heaven’s banner.
Empires fell, kingdoms were gone in days, great famines, great harvests, and all with nothing else than faith.
Don’t forget
Remember not only that this was done through and by faith, but more importantly it can be done again, through and by faith. God is still King, on Earth, we may not have Paul the Writer, Peter the Fighter, or even Timothy the Preacher, but we have people like you and me.
Never forget that who is in you, is greater than anything and everything you will see in this world.
“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” (1 John 4:4 (NIV).
